RFEL and Rhead Group join Niteworks

Niteworks has confirmed that another two companies have joined the partnership as associate members. The latest companies are RFEL Ltd and Rhead Group Limited.

RFEL is a UK-based technology company providing high specification signal, image and video processing solutions to government, defence, security and industrial customers. RFEL delivers cutting-edge expertise in the field of extreme, real-time video processing and video analytics at the source, from consultancy to soft IP level and full sub-system hardware products.

Alex Kuhrt, RFEL’s CEO, added: “The war against terrorism continually pushes the boundaries of technology. We provide digital processing solutions that are faster, lighter and more flexible than commercial off the shelf products, which is why companies and governments from around the world come to us for cutting edge solutions.”

Rhead Group is an internationally recognised professional service provider and P3M (Portfolio, Programme and Project Management) consultancy. It provides a range of solutions and specialist technical support across the full lifecycle of defence, infrastructure, construction, training and asset management programmes.

Rob Fern, Defence and Infrastructure Managing Director at Rhead Group said: "As an associate member, we will work in partnership with MOD and support them in achieving their objectives. Rhead Group has worked hard building a strong reputation in the delivery of portfolio, programme and project management advice and consultancy. We intend to add further value to MOD via the Niteworks partnership."

Confirming the new associates, Samantha Page (right), Head of Commercial / Partnering at Niteworks said: “I am delighted to welcome these two new Associates to the partnership, whose addition highlights the positive support from across industry for the Niteworks model. The partnership will continue to grow until it reaches its natural equilibrium and we have a further 30 companies that are currently in discussion about joining.

“Niteworks activities remain buoyant with project teams covering decision support activities for all the Front Line Commands and Head Office. The customer demand and breadth is a tremendous vote of confidence by the MoD in what we do and we look forward to our new associate members contributing fully to the activities.”

Niteworks has a broad portfolio of work which it is currently undertaking on behalf of various parts of the MoD. These present some interesting challenges and opportunities for industry members to work alongside Niteworks’ military sponsors. Current projects span a range of key issues including cyber, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), C4ISR, air platforms, simulation and training.
