High-Tech wins 3rd consecutive SC21 silver award
It is the 4th award the precision-engineered components and mechanical assemblies company has received on the programme.
“We are delighted to have been recognised once again and it is real testament to the commitment everyone has here in delivering a top quality product on time," said managing director Steve Tickner. "Having been actively involved with SC21 from the outset we have seen the programme develop and evolve into what we consider to be an very effective tool for improvement and change. It is without doubt one of the major contributions to our success to date and extremely useful in attracting new customers.
"We are seeing a definite change in procurement strategy as more and more buyers understand the value and benefit of engaging with SC21 suppliers who are committed to improving their delivery and quality performance and are also eager to engage in other business improvement activities. SC21 for us is fundamental in moving forward as it ensures customer satisfaction and promotes best practice which is key in our strategy to become recognised as world class”.
“Since 2008 High-Tech has been fully supportive of SC21 and their initial Bronze and now 3rd consecutive Silver Award is recognition of the company’s commitment to sustainability and improvement activity,” added SC21 project manager Phil Curnock.
