CAA launches first round of 2024 airspace modernisation funding

The UK Civil Aviation Authority has launched its first round of funding for 2024 to help support airspace modernisation projects.

The Airspace Modernisation Strategy Support Fund, which amounts to almost £2 million a year, provides financial support to projects that align with the Airspace Modernisation Strategy objectives.

The fund has so far supported 15 projects and organisations, helping them progress ideas and concepts to benefit many airspace users.

The prioritised theme for this call for proposals is ‘Environmental Sustainability’, however, all applications are welcome. The call closes on 31st May 2024.
