NPCC and UKRI open funding for P-ACEs

The National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) and UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) has opened funding for nine Policing Academic Centres of Excellence (P-ACEs) to increase the accessibility and use of research evidence, science and technology in policing.

The NPCC and UKRI will fund nine Policing Academic Centres of Excellence (P-ACEs) to improve connections between academic researchers and research users in policing.

It is designed to  to improve connections between academic researchers and research users in policing, making it easier for users of research to identify the best research evidence, science, technologies and postgraduate training that the UK has to offer.

The lead organisation must be a UK research organisation eligible for Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) funding.

The full economic cost (FEC) of your project can be up to £600,000. UKRI will fund 80% of the FEC.
