MARSS appoints Ricardo Massa as Group CFO

MARSS has announced the appointment of Ricardo Massa as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Ricardo joins MARSS during a pivotal phase of growth and innovation, bringing extensive expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning and operational transformation.
 
In his role as Group CFO, Ricardo will lead MARSS’s financial strategy, planning and operations to support the company’s rapid growth and strategic objectives. His responsibilities include overseeing business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations, while acting as a trusted financial advisor to the business and the Board.  
 
“We are thrilled to welcome Ricardo to the MARSS leadership team,” said Rob Balloch, MARSS Chief Growth Officer. “His proven track record in financial strategy, global operations, and business development will be instrumental as we continue to redefine the defence and security technology landscape for our customers around the world.”
 
Ricardo brings with him more than a decade of experience with General Electric, where he held senior finance roles across Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, he served as CFO for GE Hydro Solutions, EMEA, where he spearheaded financial strategies in a diverse and complex region.
 
Ricardo said: “MARSS’s commitment to innovation, cutting-edge solutions, and operational excellence deeply resonates with my own career values.
 
“I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to contribute to MARSS during a time of transformational growth, by collaborating with the leadership team to drive its financial strategy and enhancing its value proposition.”
 
Over the coming year, Ricardo will be contributing to MARSS’s transformative projects and scaling its global presence, as well as introducing initiatives that will further strengthen its financial infrastructure, enabling MARSS’ engineers to focus on delivering defence and security solutions for customers.
 
Ricardo added: “By embedding the best working practices and operational excellence into MARSS’s financial procedures, I look forward to supporting the company’s mission to help its customers protect what matters most – their people, critical infrastructure and assets.”
