As the world’s ninth largest engine manufacturer with a global footprint, ITP Aero increased its industrial footprint in the UK in 2021, taking over the former Rolls-Royce plant in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

Developing its UK eco-system, ITP Aero UK has become a member of the ADS Group (Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space), the leading trade organisation in the UK and is already playing a proactive role on the Aerospace Growth Partnership.

New relationships with four leading research centres, is a key driver to both specifically support its UK operations but also the wider ITP Aero in meeting its commitments as an organisation and the future of the aviation sector.

The four research centres who will work in close collaboration with ITP Aero UK are:

  • AFRC – The University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre, near
Glasgow, which is part of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland
  • AMRC – The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC)
  • MTC – the Manufacturing Technology Centre in Ansty Park, Coventry
