Helicopter crash in London
Eight fire engines and four fire rescue units and around 60 firefighters plus officers are attending reports of a helicopter crash near Wandsworth Road, St George's Wharf, in South Lambeth.
The helicopter is reported to have crashed into a crane near a building that was shrouded in mist, although details cannot as yet be confirmed. The police and other emergency services are also attending the incident.
UPDATE:
The Metropolitan Police reported that the helicopter crash claimed the life of the pilot, Peter Barnes and a passer-by, Michael Wood. Twelve other people were also injured.
