Babcock shows support for COP26 goals

Babcock is highlighting its support of the COP26 climate change summit goals with a message showing its commitment to setting ambitious science-based targets in line with 1.5oC limit to global warming and delivering net zero carbon emissions by 2040.

Babcock’s wider sustainability agenda underpins its corporate purpose: Creating a safe and secure world, together. In May 2021, Babcock launched Plan Zero 40, our commitment to transition Babcock to a net zero emissions organisation across all of our estate, assets and operations by 2040. The Group has also signed up to the Business Ambition for 1.5°C Pledge to limit global warming in line with the Paris Agreement and recently published our Carbon Reduction plan.
