Accles & Pollock expands its capabilities

West Midlands based Accles & Pollock – a trading division of Clydesdale Engineering Ltd – is further expanding its capabilities to include presswork, laser cutting and metal fabrication.

Combined with its already long history in tube manipulation, joining techniques and complex CNC machining, this expansion aims to make the company a 'one stop shop' for those in sectors such as aerospace and defence.

Accles & Pollock  have a range of both manual and progression presses from 10T up to 800T with a press shop featuring over 40 individual presses and they can produce high volume production parts, or low to medium volume aerospace parts for engines and aircraft. Its in-house capability also enables them to modify transfer press tools to single tools stage.

Accles & Pollock also operates two progression presses - 250T and 500T - capable of working with both coils and strips. In addition to the press shop it operates laser cutting machines in tandem with material stacking facilities that are capable of running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its laser cutting capabilities are complemented by a range of press brake machines with various technologies, sizes and tooling options.

Combined with its NADCAP approved welding and brazing techniques Accles & Pollock also leverage robotic welding technology to achieve precision and efficiency, reducing waste whilst also enhancing safety.
