TT Electronics awarded Kongsberg cable harness contract

Woking headquartered TT Electronics announced today that its Fairford UK business has been awarded a new contract with long-standing customer Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (Kongsberg) for the production of complex cable harness solutions.

Kongsberg is a global technology corporation delivering mission-critical solutions with extreme performance for customers that operate under extremely challenging conditions.
 
TT Electronics will provide engineering and production for cable harness and housing assemblies for Kongsberg’s Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) in an agreed contract to the end of 2026.

This award is the latest in a series of new contract signings for TT Electronics in the UK and North America, driven by an increased demand for global aerospace and defence platform production. Awards announced in recent weeks include RBSL Challenger 3 Award for cable assembly at TT’s Abercynon site and a multi-year contract with Marotta Controls from the company’s site in Cleveland Ohio.

Established in 1978, TT Electronics Fairford is a dedicated NADCAP-accredited engineering and manufacturing facility with over 80 employees, providing cable assembly engineering and manufacturing solutions for harsh environments. For over 30 years, TT Fairford has provided cable harness solutions for major defence platforms including F35, Typhoon and Storm Shadow.
