Design and innovation consultancy, Plextek have achieved the Cyber Essentials Plus Accreditation from independent certifying body, IASME.

The Cyber Essentials Plus Accreditation is an industry recognised and audited certification that highlights our capability in ensuring that essential cyber protection precautions are being undertaken.

As an integral part of the accreditation, Plextek met stringent standards that tested key aspects of its IT infrastructure. These standards measured: Secure Configuration, Firewall Competence, Internal and External Penetration Management and Operating System Patch and Risk Management.

John Barker, IT Manager commented: “Having been early adopters of the Cyber Essentials Certification, we were keen to implement the more thorough procedures required to achieve the Cyber Essentials Plus.
