Marcus Bennett, Kuehne + Nagel’s UK National Manager said: “I have witnessed first-hand, how much former members of the Armed Forces can contribute to our company. Since signing the Covenant in 2014 our new colleagues from the Armed Forces have brought a diverse service portfolio to the wider Kuehne + Nagel organisation. They reside in all business areas, from Human Resources to Warehouse Operations. Our colleagues who have joined us from the Services demonstrate drive and commitment, whilst leveraging their transferable skill sets; behaviours we champion to all of our colleagues.”

Commenting on the award, Major Lawrence Ashbridge MBE, said: “I have been impressed by the enthusiasm and innovative drive with which Kuehne + Nagel have delivered their Armed Forces Covenant pledges. The company clearly understands the needs of service leavers and how they can contribute to the long term success of the company. They have developed an excellent programme that’s helping ease the transition of veterans and steering them into good careers at Kuehne + Nagel.”
