Jet2.com was the most punctual UK airline in June and July, according to data from travel intelligence company OAG.

Throughout the busy summer months of June and July, Jet2.com were ranked as the best UK airline for On Time Performance (OTP), achieving 85.8% for June and 85.7% for July. In July, Jet2.com outperformed any other UK airline by more than 4%.

Jet2.com has improved its OTP this summer despite a significantly expanded flying programme, as well as the start of operations from two brand new bases at London Stansted and Birmingham.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “Our teams work around the clock to ensure that customers depart on time, as we know that it provides the perfect start to a lovely holiday. Punctuality is one of the most important things to our customers, alongside our award-winning customer service and friendly flight times, so we are delighted to hear that we were the most punctual UK airline during June and July.”

OAG is one of the industry’s most recognised and respected providers of rankings of OTP for all airlines and airports. Its annual Punctuality League is regarded as the industry’s benchmark for measuring on-time performance for airlines and airports.
