As one of the world’s most prestigious trade exhibitions for the aerospace and defence industries, G&P will use Farnborough International Airshow to promote how its automotive derived approach to supply chain management is helping a growing number of aerospace companies meet the increasing demands for aircraft deliveries.

David Whiffin, Director of Aerospace at G&P, said: “This is the first time that G&P has exhibited at the Farnborough International Airshow. It will provide an excellent opportunity for G&P to showcase how it is bringing proven automotive quality practices to the aerospace industry.

“It further demonstrates G&P’s growing intent and commitment to the aerospace industry, which faces many complex challenges, especially due to the multi-national and multi-stage distribution structure within the sector.”

G&P currently has a number of contracts supporting clients across the gas turbine and aerospace structures supply chains, utilising G&P’s experience of 24 years of automotive industry to develop and deliver customer specific solutions.

Key to G&P’s growth in the aerospace industry is its award-winning Quality Excellence Model, which has helped the company’s customers, in both the automotive and aerospace sectors, reduce their levels of waste by more than £1.4bn in 2017. The Model was recognised for its potential when it was awarded the UK’s highest business accolade, The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2016.
