EDM wins Company of the Year Award 2017

Provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, EDM, has won the Insider North West International Company of the Year Award 2017 (£10m - £25m turnover category).

Held at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 7th December, the awards event brought together many of the North West’s leading companies who were competing in eight categories. Facing competition from Crawford Healthcare, Beechfield Brands and Impact, EDM won the prestigious award in front of a 200 strong crowd of the local business community.

This year has been a highly successful year for EDM with turnover up 65% on the previous 12 months and profit levels soaring four-fold. Earlier this year EDM also won the North West England Greater China Business Award and were runners up in the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Award and North West EEF Manufacturing Awards.

“We’re very proud to have won this high-profile business award,” said Tony Bermingham, Managing Director of EDM. “We’ve had a very strong year winning numerous high value contracts that have helped increase our turnover and margins significantly. Underpinning EDM’s strong performance is our highly skilled team whose hard work and determination is the key reason for our success.”
