BMT Defence Services (BMT) has appointed Mark Sullivan as Technical Director

Mark (above) has been with BMT for five years, starting with the company as Principal Combat System Engineer, following his retirement from the Royal Navy after 29 years of service and rising rapidly to the position of Head of Combat Systems.  As well as being instrumental in the successful and continued growth of BMT’s overall Combat System capability, he has significantly developed the company’s Technical Documentation offering.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mark Sullivan said: “I am over the moon to be appointed as Technical Director – it certainly is a high point in my career to date. The technical team has in depth talent across all engineering disciplines and I look forward to working closely with them, directing my energy, enthusiasm and experience into ensuring that we jointly achieve the goal of driving forward our leadership and delivery of technical excellence.”

Muir Macdonald, Managing Director of BMT Defence Services comments: “Mark has achieved a great deal in the five years he’s been with BMT and this latest promotion reinforces his drive and commitment to the business.  I’ve no doubt that Mark will be an inspiring leader and valuable member of the Board.”
