AJW Group wins 'Parts Supplier of the Year'

AJW Group, a market leader in the global management of aircraft spares, has won the acclaimed ‘Aviation 100’ award for ‘Parts Supplier of the Year, 2018’ for the sixth consecutive year, following a vote by industry professionals.

The ceremony, which celebrates the year’s most outstanding performers in the aerospace industry, saw AJW recognised for the services it provides to more than 1,000 airlines in 117 countries.

The criteria for the award included “parts stocked” – with AJW recognised for its AJW's significant inventory of modern, commercial, Airbus and Boeing aircraft spare parts valued at around US$500m, located strategically across the globe. The award also takes into account the solutions AJW delivers to its current and new clients, the global locations in which it operates and the number of employees who work for the Group.

“In 2017 and moving into 2018 we have successfully strengthened our global customer services team and opened offices in Moscow and Dublin to expand our presence worldwide. In addition, we expanded existing contracts and commenced a number of new agreements including FlyBondi.com, Modern Logistics, JC International Airlines and Bombardier Business Aircraft.”

“We see all our customers, suppliers and employees as integral partners in our business and this approach has enabled us to build relationships based on mutual respect whilst providing unparalleled customer service worldwide.”

Ian Malin, Treasurer, Director and Chief Investment Officer, AJW Group, commented: “We are delighted to accept this award and are honoured that AJW Group has once again been recognised by its industry peers. Our team has a good reason to be proud of their performance in 2017 and even more reason to strive to continuously improve. It is an excellent accolade for the whole company.”

The Aviation 100 recognises high achievers in 10 categories, including Parts Suppliers, Airlines, Aircraft, Lessors, MROs, Aerospace CEOs and Appraisers, with the winner of each category receiving a coveted outstanding achievement award.
