Airbus selects WEC as preferred supplier

Following a competitive supplier selection process, Airbus has again selected WEC (Woodford Engineering Consultancy), acting through its tier-1 supplier Ferchau Engineering GmbH, as a preferred supplier.

It has been selected as preferred supplier of systems engineering services in the Fuel and Inerting Systems domain of Airbus in the UK and Spain, covering development of all Airbus civil aircraft types as well as systems and equipment Research and Technology development.

This three year contract will help to sustain a minimum of 50 high-value professional engineering jobs at WEC's Manchester and Bristol offices.

WEC's headquarters are in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire.
